One time, there was a laptop giveaway promo in which my sister won. At first I was skeptical because it is not really much to look at. Perhaps that was just my inner human nature telling me that bigger is better. Trust me, in this case, bigger most certainly does not mean better.

The small notebook computer that my sister got was small enough to make me believe it was worthless. However, after a month of playing with it, she got bored and gave the computer to me. I decided to test it out, just to see what all the hype is about.

Although the memory space is considerably less than your average laptop computer, I found, to my great surprise, that it is capable of meeting some of my needs. For example, I travel quite a bit and I constantly need to write. The small notebook computer is more convenient than my laptop and now I carry it everywhere. No, I really mean everywhere. It is so small, I can take it down to a local restaurant with me or on a quick jog without it being too much of a burden.

The internet access on it is also just as good as it is on a regular laptop. Not even the speed is affected by the computer’s size. I am able to get on all of the same websites, which surprises me because I thought the computer’s size would prevent large websites from loading.

I am very glad my sister decided she no longer wanted the computer. I trust it now, and I carry it everywhere. It really makes work as a freelance writer so much more convenient.

The thing that i consider is the smallest laptop is the iPad it can run anything you want and with the lowest power needed so the battery lasts for long time. Also the new iphone 4G it has a chip which apple call it (Apple A4) which close the unused apps and processes and with 128 MB DDR SDRAM chips.

At the end, I think Apple is the only company that seeks to make the complete solution and Mini-pc and phone in the same Think.
